How the Employee Assistance Program works
For the big and the small challenges life throws your way ... we’ve got your back. At JPMorgan Chase we talk often and openly about the importance of mental health – encouraging employees to be proactive in prioritizing their overall health and their emotional well-being. But we don’t expect you to “go it alone”. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is here to support you — and your family members — to prevent small issues from becoming bigger ones, to support you through life's challenges, and to help you thrive day to day. Whether it’s providing easy and affordable access to therapy/counseling, or helping you find services like eldercare or legal support, EAP can help..
Turn to the EAP for assistance with:
- Personal life issues. The pressures of everyday living, stress, relationship difficulties, domestic abuse and life changes.
- Emotional issues. Grief and loss, stress, eating disorders, phobias, depression, anxiety, anger, trouble concentrating and other psychological issues.
- Alcohol and substance abuse. Concerns about abuse of alcohol and/or illegal or prescription drugs by you, your partner, a child or someone close to you.
- Work-related conflicts. Interpersonal issues, disagreements, communications.
- Legal and/or Financial issues. Free phone consultation with a professional for legal and/or financial issues and referrals to discounted professionals for ongoing assistance.
Your care with the EAP is private and confidential.
